The Magrisso Forte Collection Database is meant for research purposes only. All of the images can be duplicated for purchase however they are restricted for research, educational and other non-commercial uses. For use in a business or for resale please contact us.

The database is comprised of three general collections: The Magrisso Forte Collection is a conglomorate of smaller collections and individual photographs, drawings, negatives, prints, slides and postcards ranging from 1836-1980 and from across Connecticut. The United Advertising Corporation Collection is a large group of negatives and original prints taken statewide by that company between 1918-1970. The Joseph Taylor Collection is a conglomorate of individual photographs, drawings, negatives, prints, slides and postcards collected by Mr. Taylor over the last 15 years ranging from c1850-1960 mostly in New Haven.

Together these collections offer views into a great range of time periods, subjects and localities. The Database rivals many museums and libraries in the number of images avaliable to view however we are constantly trying to improve our database to make it easier and more accessable to use.
