This collection includes over 2000 images from around Connecticut. The online database includes more than 500 images of New Haven's neighborhoods. The United Advertising Corporation began in New Haven in 1917 as a billposting and sign company.
The photographs from this collection were taken between about 1920 to 1960. Most of the images are negatives of various sizes while many are original prints.
